Architectural Construction Documents

At Superior Insulated System's our goal is to provide the best premium products with the greatest service possible!

In order to assist you with obtaining a building permit, the professionals at SIS Inc, will provide a complete set of Architectural Construction Documents included with every home. All construction documents for our SIP homes are designed to meet or exceed all federal, state, and local county building codes. Some areas of the country are more prone to natural disasters, in which case building departments may require additional information in order to issue a building permit. All of our clients should be aware that if they are located in one of these areas, a professional engineer’s stamp and seal of approval may be required in order to obtain a building permit. If this is the case for your building site location we can help. At SIS Inc, we maintain relationships with structural engineers licensed for every state in the US. If required, we can have all of your Architectural Construction Documents stamped and sealed, along with energy calculations and any other pertinent information required by your local building department.

We also produce our signature 3-D models and floor plan renderings, to assist you in the design process, which you will not find anywhere else!

The drawing package includes site plan, floor plans, elevations, framing plans, electrical and piping layouts, wall sections, header load tables, manufacturer's sealed truss design packets, panel count and layout, and many other drawings necessary for manufacturing your home. You will receive Four (4) sets of drawings plotted on 24"x36" bright white bond paper at 1/4 " = 1'-0" scale; One (1) for your builder, two (2) for the building department, and one (1) for your own records.

*Standard architectural construction documents do not come with a professional seal. Please let us know if you will require a signed and sealed set of plans. With sealed plans there might be additional information that you will have to provide to our architectural department, such as a site survey, soil test, and zoning ordinances.

Since every project is different, we will customize your plans to meet your specific requirements. Depending on the design and location of your project, you may require more or less than what is supplied in our standard drawings. We will work with you and your building department to supply all the necessary requirements for you to receive your building permit.
