TJI Joist

TJI Joists are a high-tech combination of O.S.B. (Oriented Strand Board) and flanges made from Microllam. Using up to two-thirds less wood than traditional sawn lumber,TJI Joists are resource-efficient and manufactured to resist shape-changing effects of temperature and moisture. The famous Trus Joist Silent Floor System uses TJI Joists whose innovative design helps prevent squeaky floors. Long lengths allow for continuous span applications and the consistent quality and uniformity eliminate waste and improve production time.

Microllam
Laminated Veneer Lumber:

Microllam is a unique cross between plywood and O.S.B. It resists bowing, shrinking and twisting which helps prevent wall cracks. Microllam is a resource-efficient product made with wood from smaller, younger trees. Used as ridge and perimeter beams, it provides superior strength with less weight. Header and beam configurations support heavy loads with relatively little mass.

TimberStrand
Laminated Strand Lumber:

This revolutionary product is made from fast-growing aspen and yellow poplar and can be used for such structural elements as columns, beams, rim board and headers. Free of knots, bow, twist and wane, including out-standing weatherability and dimensional stability, TimberStrand is a superior product to sawn lumber. Precut as rim board, TimberStrand is also a cost-competitive, high-quality alternative to sawn lumber.

Parallam
Parallel Strand Lumber:

Taking advantage of wood fiber often wasted during the milling of sawn lumber, the Parallam manufacturing process is both cost and resource efficient. Its design makes it stronger and straighter than traditional longer length lumber. Parallam's unique and appealing appearance lends itself beautifully to dramatic interior exposed beams and columns. Strength, consistency and workability make it an attractive alternative to glulam beams and structural steel.

OSB(Oriented Strand Board):

OSB is manufactured from waterproof heat-cured adhesives and rectangular shaped wood strands that are arranged in cross-oriented layers. Cross-orientation makes the panels strong and stiff in both directions. This results in a structural engineered wood panel with outstanding strength and performance characteristics. This manufacturing process also ensures panel consistency. OSB is a solid panel product of consistent quality with no laps, gaps or voids. OSB fiber is harvested from sustainable, fast growing timber sources, not old-growth forest.
