Six Key Steps To The SIS Building Process

GETTING AN ESTIMATE

  • Contact Superior Insulated Systems to discuss with one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives the details of your project and the benefits of the SIS building system.
  • Send your plan to SIS
  • SIS will review your plan and generate a FREE price quote.

DEPOSIT

  • If you have any questions, an experienced customer service representative will follow up within the next 7 business days. They will answer any questions you may have regarding your custom home kit’s specifications and assembly inquiries.
  • Once you are satisfied the estimate is correct based on your parameters, a 10% deposit is required to process your order. This payment can be made by personal check, bank transfer or cash.

APPROVAL DRAWINGS and PROPOSAL

  • Your project will be assigned to an expert SIS drafter who will work with you to generate preliminary drawings and help guide you through the panel design process.

VERIFY YOUR DRAWINGS

  • You will then verify (check) your preliminary drawings and redline them as necessary.
  • You are encouraged to contact your customer service representative or professional drafter with any questions. When you are satisfied with your revised plans, sign, date and fax the preliminary approval paperwork back to your customer service representative to proceed.
  • Final Architectural Plans will be provided for you to submit to your local municipality to begin the process of obtaining a building permit. The Final Architectural Drawings Package will include a Final Plans Approval to be signed and faxed/mailed to SIS Inc.
  • At this time you are required to provide an additional 30% deposit to start the production of your custom home.

PRODUCTION and SHIPMENT

  • SIS’s project coordinator will contact you to begin the scheduling process.
  • A materials list will be generated and sent to the customer, along with additional literature and supplies necessary to prepare you for the delivery of your new SIP Home.
  • The panels will be produced and a delivery date scheduled.
  • Upon delivery, the final payment balance is required prior to unloading. This payment must be in the form of a certified check or cashiers check and presented to the delivery driver.

FOLLOW UP

  • The project coordinator will call you following the delivery of your panels to answer any questions.
  • A copy of warranties and a customer survey (to evaluate our products and performance) will be sent.
